Im getting a 4x pedal assist bike just for this rson i mean i will only use my battery when i am in a rush but other then that no other times only rson is bcuz e bikes can make it work for all 3 cattegories of bikes basically making it a hybrid while also specializing in one most likely will never meedabuse the battery unlwss the hill is like the grand canyon

Ok. I’m wanting to get a dropper post, I’ve never had one. My stack hight is 180cm and the max insertion depth is 240cm and I think I might be able to run a 180 drop post and get max drop or if I should just get the 150cm drop.

so, what type of rim tape and sealant do you guys use with cushcore? too much info out there and I guess I'll come to you guys for answers. I'm getting answers like rim tape with labels printed on it don't hold well with certain sealant as the fiber of the sealant will rub on the tape cause failure to the tape and causing clogged valves.

So this guy is saying that custom valving is BS? I weigh 255 lbs and I have to run everything high pressure, high compression dampening, and slow rebound. Wouldn't valving optimize the product to get me more in the middle of damping ranges?

Unlike DOT, mineral oil can be used interchangeably. Magura will void your warranty tho. Yes, the boiling point is slighty different, but it is unlikeley to reach that temperature anyway. I use a 3rd party mineral oil in my brakes and never failed me so far. Any mineral oil brake lever is theoretically compatible with any mineral oil caliper, but the volume of fluid moved might be different. If you want a more "on-off" feel, look for a lever with a bigger volume and/or a ramp (like shimano mt501 -> xtr). If you want a longer throw, look for longer lever and/or lower lever piston volume. Consider changing the material of the brakepads, there are 4 main marterials you can choose from: resin, semimetalic, ceramic and metalic. They drasticly change the brake feel. The same with de diameter of the rotor. Tyres: the brake component few talk about. If you skid with front tyre on grippy terrain, you don't have powerful brakes, you have bad tyres.
